We encourage you to start working on your engagement ring at least 5 months before the proposal date. However, we can accommodate last-minute requests on case-by-case basis.

Our bespoke journey begins with a private consultation — in person or virtually — where we learn about your vision, style, and story. From there, we present design concepts, detailed sketches, or CAD renderings for your approval. Once the design is finalised, our master artisans handcraft your piece with meticulous attention to detail.

Yes, we charge a design fee but if you move forward with us, it's waived.

Yes, if you wish to incorporate a family heirloom or personal stone, we would be honoured to work with it. Please note that while we take the utmost care, ARIAH BELVI cannot accept liability for chips, cracks, or breakages of stones provided by clients.

On average, a bespoke ring takes 6 weeks from design approval to completion, depending on complexity and sourcing requirements. If you have a special deadline, please let us know, we’ll always do our best to accommodate.

Metal:

• Higher karat metals come at a premium price.
• The more metal used, the higher the cost, factoring in both weight and polishing labour.
• Platinum is more expensive due to the extra time required for casting, fabrication, and polishing.

Stones:

• Designs with more stones increase labour for setting, as well as the overall cost of the stones.
• Larger stones demand more intricate labor for setting and are generally more expensive.

Design:

• The initial quote includes a set number of 2D design revisions. Additional design changes beyond the quoted rounds may increase the final price.
• Extensive changes to 3D designs are limited and may incur extra costs.

Labour:

• Stone setting and polishing are covered in the initial quote.

Resizing or modifications after completion may require additional labour fees.

We accept bank transfers and secure card payments. All transactions are processed safely, and receipts are provided for your records.

We understand that bespoke fine jewellery is a meaningful investment, and we offer flexible options to make the process seamless.

For most bespoke commissions, we kindly request full payment upfront to begin work. A 50% deposit with the balance due upon completion may be arranged upon request.

For international clients, we can also offer Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) or installment options via trusted providers such as Klarna, Afterpay, or Affirm, depending on your region. For South African clients, PayFast’s MoreTyme allows purchases to be split into three interest-free payments, while you receive the full amount upfront. This lets you enjoy your piece immediately while paying over time.

Diamonds and gemstones of significant value are always invoiced and settled separately, ensuring clarity and security for high-value purchases.

As an international atelier, our pricing is linked to global diamond and precious metal markets. Quotes may vary slightly depending on exchange rate fluctuations and availability.

Yes. We carefully source both GIA-certified natural diamonds and IGA-certified lab-grown diamonds of the highest grade. Each stone is conflict-free, traceable, and selected for its exceptional beauty.

Our diamonds follow the grading scales and standards of the Gemological Institute of America (GIA).

Due to the highly personalized and custom nature of our rings, each meticulously crafted to perfectly suit your chosen diamond and ring size, all custom ring sales are considered final and are not eligible for exchange or return.

That said, we want you to feel completely confident in your purchase. Every ring is carefully crafted and quality-checked by our atelier before it reaches you. We also offer complimentary resizing and thoughtful aftercare to ensure the piece fits beautifully and lasts for years to come. Our team is here to support you long after your ring is delivered.

Yes, most rings can be resized by one or two sizes. Full eternity rings cannot be resized without resetting the entire ring. Please contact us for resizing options after your purchase.

We recommend cleaning your jewellery gently with a soft brush, warm water, and mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals and store your pieces in a soft-lined box or pouch. We also offer professional cleaning and polishing services.

Yes. Repairs are taken on a case-by-case basis. ARIAH BELVI cannot guarantee that repairs will be possible for items damaged through extraordinary circumstances or unreasonable, unexpected, or reckless use and treatment. Any such determinations of use and treatment will be at our discretion.

Bespoke pieces come with a 6-month warranty for manufacturer’s defect so long as the damage did not result from unusual or extreme wear or use. After that warranty, repairs can be made on a case by case basis and will incur a fee.

Upon placement of an order, customers will be sent written confirmation via email of their order. Once order has been placed, we can’t cancel the order. Once an order has been shipped, customers will receive a confirmation email with the tracking number.

Our made-to-order pieces typically take between 3 to 8 weeks to complete, depending on the complexity of your design. If you need your piece by a specific date, please let us know, and if possible, we can try to accommodate you as long as it doesn't compromise our quality control processes.

All packages require a signature at delivery. 

ARIAH BELVI is not responsible for packages lost or stolen after the package is confirmed delivered by the shipping provider.

Yes we do! Please note that all customs and duty fees are the customer's responsibility to pay. Although charges are not always incurred, assessment of duties and import taxes will be based on the value of the order and the tax-free threshold, if it exists, for goods imported into the destination country. Customs and duty fees are determined by the customs agency within the destination country.

Some shipments will be sent on a DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) basis, and you will be charged duties and taxes by the shipping provider when they deliver your order. Payment of these is necessary to release your order from customs. Please contact your local customs office if you have any questions regarding the duty fee for your order.

All transit times begin after the product is processed and shipped. Estimated transit time for international shipment assumes normal customs approval without delay. All shipping methods are not available for all destinations. All shipping policies are subject to change at any time for any reason at ARIAH BELVI'S discretion.
